About ATA’s Members’ Meet-Ups

The Members’ Meet-Ups provide an opportunity for members to gather and discuss topics related to tapestry weaving. The program is free for any member of ATA and is held virtually, as our membership includes people from around the world. Usually held on the first Saturday of every other month (excluding July), the program features members who share their work, studio, design processes, or technical skills with members. Join the conversation and learn first-hand from the amazingly talented members who make ATA the primary source of inspiration for tapestry weavers. ATA’s next Member Meetup will be a bit unique as it will be available for Members and Non-Members as we host a roundtable discussion of artists included in the American Tapestry Biennial. Join us Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 8 am Pacific, 9 am Mountain, 10 am Central, and 11 am Eastern for our next Member Meetup by registering here for the Zoom link. As a reminder, an email will be sent on Friday prior to the gathering with the Zoom link. The American Tapestry Biennial 15 will be on view at the Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago, IL, from August 1, 2025, through September 26, 2025. The jurors for the exhibition are Crystal Gregory, Associate Professor of Fibers at the School of Art and Visual Studies, University of Kentucky, and Poppy Delta Dawn, Assistant Professor of Fibers at the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
