Felicitas Sloves’ Biography
Felicitas Sloves discovered her passion for weaving while studying textiles at the Cooperstown (NY) Graduate Programs. She has exhibited and sold her handwoven clothing and accessories at shows, shops and festivals throughout the US. She has also created religious textiles commissioned for churches and synagogues. Felicitas often incorporates designs inspired by her Dutch-Indonesian heritage into her work. A weaver since 1980, Felicitas continues to design and weave original tapestries in her home studio in Memphis, Tennessee.
