Jane Hoffman sold two of her tapestries to
McGraw-Hill Companies. The tapestries are in the permanent art
collection at McGraw-Hill's Polaris site in Columbus, Ohio. The
tapestries are titled "Croton: and "Lily".
"Croton" was shown in ATA's "Tapestries from the
Southwest" show, February 8 to March 12, 1999 at the Tucson/Pima
Arts Council, Tucson, Arizona and in the Intermountain Weaver's
Conference show "Fiber Celebrated", July 11 to October 3,
1999 at the Albuquerque Museum of Art, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
"Lily" joined the collection as soon as it was completed in
2002.
An article entitled "Visions of Nature"
in the current issue of Wildlife
Art magazine (January/February 2003)
includes the tapestries of Katherine Perkins. The article
introduces readers to unique artistic mediums for depicting wildlife.
