Christina Rasmussen of Ben Lomond, CA will assist Nancy Jackson in weaving the central tapestry, “Annunciation” (8-feet by 4-feet). Christina has been studying with me since April 2001, commuting weekly 2 hours each way, at minimum. This is dedication! Christina has background in Oriental rug repair and other fiber arts. She arrived in California a few years ago from Canada, and maintains close ties to her Estonian heritage.

Nancy Jackson, Timshel Studio, has been weaving and teaching for over 25 years, 15 of which have been devoted entirely to Aubusson/Gobelin methods. She has exhibited internationally and her work is held in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. Her tapestry, Battle of the Horse and Bull, can be seen in the collection of Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum in Decorah, IA.
