ATB 4 Opens in Chicago
The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago
will be your last opportunity to see the exciting American Tapestry
Biennial 4 exhibition. It has had very favorable reviews in the
press!
The show will open on March 2 from 2-5 pm and
continue until March 29th. Persons interested in attending the opening
should verify the time with UIMA (Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art,
2320 W Chicago, Chicago, IL60622 (773) 227-5522)
The Tapestry Symposium hosted by ATA and the
Gloria F. Ross Center for Tapestry from March 21-23 will be an
excellent time to view the exhibition. On March 22, Jane Kidd, one of
the artists, will reflect on ATB 4. That evening a reception and dinner
will be held at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art for symposium
participants. Look for details for registering for the Symposium in
another section of the newsletter and join us at this exciting event.
ATB 4 has been publicized and reviewed by many
prestigious magazines (see below) increasing the visibility of tapestry
and giving enjoyment to the viewing public. Our thanks to everyone who
helped make the exhibition a great success for ATA and for the
participating artists.
