Knowledge Tearing Ignorance - There are different ways of writing a personal journal; weaving this miniature tapestry was one of them for me: my own record of the apprehension and understanding of several of life's lessons. I wanted to describe the dazzle that goes into the human mind when the subject, which is being studied and absorbed, soaks all the neurons of understanding. A luminous spasm is provoked that makes you close your eyes while you hold your breath.

Mind Dazzled before Knowledge - The different ways the mind has of wondering and developing the thoughts keeps my curiosity always fresh. I can image the inner "world" of my mind as a happy celebration full of fireworks when it acquires knowledge; when it can understand a subject, an idea, a new concept. Applying later what it has been learnt is another joy, other type of happiness.

Geometrizing Concepts - This tapestry represents a synthesis: the circle enclosed the meeting between the mind and Knowledge; the red square is the flow of the brain's fluid; the brown square is a representation of the tissues wrapping the brain and the white square...Knowledge!

I was born in Dean Funes, province of Cordoba, Argentina. I got my Teacher's degree in the '60's. At the end of the '70's and the '80's I was dedicated to China painting, and took drawing classes at the same time. In the '90's I began to work with textiles in frame looms. I am living in USA since 2001 in one of the Boston's suburbs.
