Pamela Davis's Biography

Growing up in the Great Lakes region of the United States, moving around the country from Cleveland, Ohio, to Chicago, New York City, Boston, San Francisco, the Twin Cities (St. Paul and Minneapolis) of Minnesota and numerous other cities and towns, she has experienced a variety of human traditions and environments. From a high rise office in New York City, to the Sierra Mountains and deserts of California, from the rocky Atlantic coast of Maine, to the soft sandy beaches of Florida, Pam has witnessed the effect nature and other environments have on developing our sense of self and place in the universe. Pam evolved into a tapestry artist when she discovered her need for connectivity and the energy she feels became grounded in the interweaving of weft and warp found in tapestry.
